"Dear Dennis,

Over 10 years ago I came across your work in a Santa Claus special issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine.  I tore the article out to hang on to for safe keeping and shortly after misplaced it.  For years I've thought about your sculptures, heartbroken at the thought I may have thrown it out by mistake and then, this morning, I found the article I had tucked away!  Your work stirs something in my soul, I cannot put it to words.  I sat at my computer this morning in tears, as though I had found a long lost friend.  I was thrilled to see all your new pieces and look forward to the day I own one of my own.  I would love to know where you are located so that I can plan a trip to meet you and/or see your work one day.  Dennis, your work is absolutely magical and I thank-you so much for sharing your talent with the world.

Highest regards, Jacqueline Grondin"

"While visiting Seattle quite a few years ago, I discovered the wonderful talent of Santa artist, Dennis Brown.  Since that time, my Christmas gift to myself every year is a new Santa for my collection.

Dennis, I don't know how you do it, but you infuse a distinctive "personality" in the clay of every Santa that you create!  My Santa collection has become the focal point of my holiday decorating.  Every time I unpack my Santa collection, it is as though I am seeing each one again for the first time!  Thank you, Dennis, for bringing out the child in all of us and allowing us to believe in the whimsical magic of Christmas through your wonderful talent! Your talent is truly amazing!"

"Hi Dennis,

I wanted to let you know that the newest member of our family has made it back to Florida in one piece and "August" is getting acquainted with his new home.  Of course, this is not before our family in Bellevue got to meet and bond with him.  They all fully approve of our new addition.  So my question is, the tag attached to him reads:  August; Sprinkles dew drops on the thirsty plants in the garden..Are we correct in assuming that his name is August?  He's way too shy to tell us if it's not...so I decided to ask his Maker.  I expect he's going to have to have some friends sooner or later and will be making regular visits to your website.  Thanks so much for bringing him into our lives.  Merry, Merry Christmas!"

"Hi Dennis - I'm Eric Herzberg, director of the Fallen Heroes Project which provides the portraits drawn by Michael Reagan to fallen hero families.  I got to know Michael 4 years ago and now consider him a brother.  Michael drew a portrait of my son, Marine LCPL Eric W Herzberg.  Eric was killed in Iraq in October of 2006.  The portrait of my son was so meaningful to me that I went to visit Michael and offered to help him.  On behalf of Michael and myself, we want to thank you so much for your kind and generous donation.

It's encouraging to know there are people around like you who recognize the sacrifices these families have made.

Warm regards"
