There is much more to Santa Claus than a red and white suit. There is the spirit he represents.

That is the spirit of giving of one’s self to others, and the greatest and most meaningful gift is that of your time. When someone gives there time, it goes very far to the recipient. It is the spirit of giving that lives on and should be continued day in and day out. It is my theory that the most important thing you can do in life is to give yourself, don’t do it for a return favor or expectation, but quietly and with an open heart, the impact you will have on people’s lives is more meaningful that any trophy you could display.

It is as simple as a phone call or a personal visit. Most people are emotionally lonely and a hug or pat on the back from the heart is a great gift that will be remembered and appreciated for a long time.
